Not too long ago, in a universe not too different from ours…
One night, Angie, a cat working as a farmer for Animal Kingdom, had finished writing on her journal. As she was returning it to its bookshelf, a note unexpectedly fell out of it. She picked it up and began to read it. The date on it was October 28, 2012. 5 years ago, she thought. It’s March 4, 2017. Why is it that I am only reading this now, she was asking in her mind.
It read:
If you are reading this, then you need to know that we won’t come back if you don’t do something now. Angie, we lied to you because as a wee little kitten, we thought you wouldn’t understand. You see, we told you that we would go on a long journey to talk to a potential buyer of goods, but in reality, we recieved a notice that we’d be pet-napped and there’s nothing else we can do about it! They’re bound to get us the day after above date! Some advice for journeying around the Pet World:
- Bring this note as evidence that you are looking for us. Ask permission from the ruler of each kingdom by telling them your story. Once they allow you to continue, they will tell the local pets to help you go past the many walls the villains have set up for anybody who wants to rescue one of their prisoners.
- Bring all essentials for a long journey with extreme and unexpected conditions. I’m sure you know about that now.

Angie was devastated. She thought that her parents were simply going to sell some crops to a mysterious customer living in a faraway kingdom, but with this letter, she now knew that they wouldn’t come back if she stayed here. She decided to pack now and start the next day, when she had more energy.
