Outside the castle, Angie and Detective Corgus saw a rainbow bridge leading up to some clouds where a sheep was harvesting Cloudy Cauliflower.
“Hi there, it’s been a long time since anyone has walked the rainbow road. How are you doing?”
“We, my little friend, are here to break the walls.” Detective Corgus said to her face.
“Don’t be so arrogant. You know these things aren’t easy to break.” Angie nudged Detective Corgus. “Especially after your coat was robbed of boosters.”
After 12 days, Angie and Detective Corgus had broken all the walls in the rainbow road. The sheep gave them each a package of Cloudy Cauliflower.
“You know, Angie, since we’ll be together for a while, you can just call me Conlan.” Detective Corgus said.
“Will do.” replied Angie.
The next walls were on a thick vine growing large tomatoes. There was a red panda wearing park ranger gear resting on a tomato.
“Hey there, please tread lightly on the vine. No nibbling on tomatoes, take nothing but photos, and leave nothing but footprints. I’m Bailey, your good ol’ tomato patrol personnel.”
“Okiedokie then. We’ll just break these walls and… we’re out of here.” Angie said sheepishly.
19 days later, Angie and Conlan had broken the walls on the vine and made it all the way down.
“Thank you for clearing out our vine! Have some canned tomatoes, please!” Bailey gave Angie some canned tomatoes, which she put inside her satchel.
“Don’t forget to come back to Skyward Gardens soon! I’m Bailey, your friendly ol’ tomato police!”
Angie and Conlan crossed a road covered with large squares of cloth sewn together. There was a doe sitting in front of a laptop.
“Why, hello there. My name is Sara, and welcome to Patchwork Path. It’s a work of art I made myself. It’s kind of an alternate reality where everything is made by patchwork. I posted it on social media, and it used to go viral, but it isn’t getting any views for some reason. Is my PiñaBook Pro not working? It seems to be fine, but what happened? I had some pets going here as well, but what happened to them?”
“You did a great job here, but I have a pretty good idea why it doesn’t get views anymore. It’s simply because most of the pets are trapped in these colorful walls you see here.”
“We’re here to break these walls, and then we’ll skedaddle out of here.” Conlan chimed in.
“Um, okay then, I guess?” Sara replied.
After 15 days, Sara bid goodbye to Angie and Detective Corgus. As they walked, they heard tinkling sounds. They looked down and discovered that they were walking on piano tiles.
“Why, hello there. Welcome to Tiny Tunes! We sell musical equipment from all ages, genres, and purposes! What would you like to buy?”
“We don’t want to buy anything.” Conlan insisted. “All we want to do is break the walls.”
“He’s right.” Angie confirmed.
24 days had elapsed, and Angie and Conlan were able cross the bridge to Toy Town.
Toy Town was managed by a plucky hedgehog wearing a bright red bowtie and a straw hat.
“Ha-ha! Hey there! You don’t look like youngsters, don’t you?”
“Well, that’s just rude.” Conlan interjected. “I think we’re still young and sprightly.”
“Don’t mind him.” Angie replied, trying to change the subject. “We’re just here to clear your store of walls. Do you mind?”
“Why, not at all. In fact, I’d like to see someone clear ‘em all out, y’know?”
“Uh…”
“Well, skedaddle on there! Let’s see you clear those walls!”
After 20 days, Angie had cleared Toy Town of its walls.
“Impressive. However, you better watch your manners, because that gate over there leads to the Royal Gardens. Especially with your mildly offensive detective friend you got there.” He pointed straight at Conlan.
Angie and Conlan looked up at the crimson torii (Japanese gate found at Shinto shrines) and gulped.
